SPRING CONSTANT

When one mass hangs from a spring, there is a diplacement: "x".  If you put another identical mass on, the displacement is 2x.
The spring obeys Hooke's Law; F=-kx where F is the force and K is the strength of the spring (spring constant).
Students construct a graph of force vs. displacement and find the K value of the spring.
